Shawn Michaels is semi-retired from wrestling and still makes appearances in the ring, mostly for legacy matches. His most recent appearance was in 2018. He is now a producer for WWE. He has also acted, appearing in Baywatch and The Resurrection of Gavin Stone. His book, co-written by David Thomas, is called Wrestling For My Life: The Legend, the Reality, and the Faith of a WWE Superstar. He is a born-again Christian and does appearances with former wrestler Sting.
