Whoopi Goldberg
Born in the Big Apple Whoopi Goldberg is a woman of many talents. She is an actor, comedian, television personality, and author who has won a Tony Award, Grammy Award, Academy Award, and Emmy Award. Goldberg’s career in the arts launched after her role in The Color Purple by Steven Spielberg, due to this film she won her first Golden Globe. As well as performing on Broadway she produced her own musicals and co-hosted the talk show The View, which is still airing to this day.
