During the Obama presidency, First Lady Michelle Obama found this rule to be quite difficult to abide by. During an interview with Ellen DeGeneres she said, “I just want some wind in my face.” She has also recounted a time when daughter Sasha Obama opened a window shortly after the first family moved into the White House and that “there were calls,” claiming the incident never happened again.
