The 1974 Pontiac GTO is the perfect muscle car for a grandma fetching groceries. While the GTO was arguably the first muscle car and also one of the greats, the 1974 model simply fell short of the company’s lofty standards. The 350-CID V8 produced just 200 hp, resulting in sluggish speed. To no surprise, the 1974 was a flop and largely lambasted by auto enthusiasts.
